What is the FUNDAE virtual classroom self-declaration (declaración responsable) and when is it used?

It is a document signed by each participant stating that they attended a training action delivered by virtual classroom. It is provided for in Article 2.1 of SEPE's 2026 resolution (BOE-A-2025-25790) as an exceptional alternative to the connection log.

When it is used. The general rule is that the virtual classroom has a connection log generated by the application itself, with participants, dates and connection times. Only when the tool used cannot produce that log is participation proven, exceptionally, through a self-declaration, so that attendance time can be checked.

What FUNDAE's official 2026 model says:

  • Participant details (name and ID number), training provider, file number and, for each action, its name, action number, group number and start and end dates.
  • It is only valid to prove participation when the tool cannot produce a connection log.
  • It is submitted only if the control bodies ask for it during monitoring.
  • One declaration is needed per training provider and file.

Why it is better not to rely on it. It is weaker evidence than an automatic log: it depends on each person signing and keeping it, and it does not show real connection times. When choosing a tool, check that it produces and exports the connection log.

Do not confuse it with other declarations. Training providers also submit a self-declaration to register in the State Register of Training Entities. That is a different procedure, unrelated to attendance.

Always use the current year's model from the FUNDAE website.
